There is something really cool about having a flatscreen TV at the foot of your luxury tub. I don’t know what it is, but when you see that flatscreen in the master bathroom is screams OPULENCE! You know when you walk into that hotel bathroom (and I am not talking about Hotel 6 honey) but perhaps a Four Seasons or the Ritz Carlton and you see that flatscreen next to the large baths and you know that you are living in the lap of luxury..if even for a moment.

Looking through home design pages, it seems that we are not alone in our affection for watching the tele in the tub. The trick is to make these flatscreen features blend into the wall, not making it stick out in the design, but to enhance the spa like experience.
There are some pretty cool technologies that are available today that can basically “hide” the television when not in use. By way of mirrors or art, the TV camouflages in with the surroundings. A pretty cool feature, especially for those designers who hate the image of a big black box.
Now time to sit back and unwind in your soaking tub and watch some TV. Would you call that a “bath potatoe”” or perhaps a raisin if you stay in there too long!
