Remodeling Magazine just came out with their annual Cost vs Value Report that compares the average cost for the most popular remodeling projects with the value those projects retain at resale. We think it is a nifty little tool that can help homeowners decide on which projects that they want to focus on. Their research shows that most of the home remodeling projects have lost a bit of their resale value in the past few years due to the recession. Instead of doing a bathroom addition this year, maybe it is a “out with the old and in with the new” attitude. Upgrading the old avocado colored sinks with some bathroom pedestal sinks can make a huge difference in rejuvenating the bathroom. Home buyers look for a great kitchen bath collection, so think about enhancing the master bathroom with a high end bathtub.
