Diamond Spas has made its way into one the NKBA Bathrooms of 2010. This bathroom, designed by Michael Bright, Sonya Faulhaber & John Sarkesian received Honorable Mentions and Best Sustainable Design.
Design Notes: The designer was tasked with creating a bathroom that used green design, without sacrificing function or a soothing atmosphere. Low-consumption plumbing fixtures—like a Gerberit low-flow, dual-flush toilet—were used, as was a gray water recovery system and a rainwater recovery retention cistern. Plenty of natural light gives the room some of the relaxing qualities the owners wanted.
