With Memorial weekend upon us, I thought about how the pools will be opening this weekend to all the anxious kids. I found this this lovely little film clip of young adults in the late 1920’s enjoying the community swimming pool and slides. When you look at these images, you realize they were no different than we are today-wanting to get out and enjoy life and their love of water. It is so fun to see the girls giggle and enjoy simple pleasures. While some thing haven’t changed, check out those swim suits and swim caps. The suits are more like dresses and the men are wearing full suits as well-the good ole’ days.. Enjoy and Happy Memorial Weekend!
