Looks like these distinguished individuals also knew the benefits of a nightly soak.
Doctors recommend warm baths for healthy individuals. A warm bath can be a great detoxifying tool as it raises your core temperature, dilates your blood vessels, aids in blood circulation, lowers blood pressure and draws contaminants out through your pores. We think most of all it relieves stress. In the early 1900’s doctors would recommend a hot water bath to avoid cancers and diseases from staying in the body. We are not sure of those strong claims, but we do know we are completely relaxed after we get our daily soak!
