Yes, size does matter on some things, and copper is no exception when it comes to buying a custom bathtub, sink or showerpan. Make sure you ask about gauge or thickness when you’re researching buying a product online. At Diamond Spas we only use .080″-12 gauge copper sheet metal. Trust us, there is a difference. Look through our website at diamondspas.com and you will notice that we don’t sell any stamped or patterned stainless steel or copper products. The products you see out on the market that are stamped are made from a thinner metal which can cause a “tininess” sound when water is filled in the tub or sink, and have a higher rate of leaking. Call us to get a sample of our copper or stainless steel and check it with the competition.
